Best Forms of Packaging Grinded Cereal Products

There are two popular methods to package grinded cereals – cartons and pouches. Cartons have traditionally been used in cereal packaging. Cartons have ruled the United States packaging market for over a decade and were considered the best cereal packaging alternative. The use of plastic pouches and stand up bags is relatively new in this country, but they are fast replacing cartons as the preferred method of ground cereal packaging. There are several reasons for the increasing popularity of these plastic barrier bags.

One of the major reasons for this surge in popularity of plastic pouches is that they are less costly to manufacture and transfer than cartons. These pouches are also more environment friendly as they take up less space in landfills. An additional advantage for sellers is that they get more area to advertise and publish their product’s information on stand up bags.

For consumers, these pouches are more flexible than cartons as they are easier to carry around and store. They take up less storage space. Additional features like zippers and hang holes increase their storage and utility, making them a good option for long term storage of grinded cereals. If you manufacture or deal in ground cereal, try stand up bags.
