One of the most useful features of stand up pouches is their bottom gusset design. This is usually what makes a stand up pouch stand upright on a store shelf. There are different types that affect the way your stand up pouch looks and functions.
One style is a round bottom gusset. Another is the K-style. More of the product goes to the bottom of the pouch when using the K-style.
These two styles are most often used for lighter products. The plow bottom gusset really uses the bottom of the bag more than the seal itself. The weight of the product heavily supports the pouch. These are great for heavier products. Finally, our flat bottom side gusset stand up pouch is brand new to the industry. These stand perfectly flat on its bottom and mimic a box.
