There is a plethora of stand up pouch options available for different needs. Your product can range from liquids to powders and from dry fruits to fresh vegetables. Innovative stand up bags take care of it all. These bags are available in different structures pertaining to all sorts of products. Some of the structures are discussed below:

  1. Metalized Film Structures (opaque and not foil) and Clear Structures (see through): These two stand up bag structures usually have a similar price level when your criteria (product type, weight, etc.) are same. Both these pouch types can be manufactured with exceptional barrier properties, high strength, and durability.
  2. Aluminum Foil Structures: This type is a bit expensive than its counterparts, as it normally has better barrier properties as compared to the metalized and clear film structure.
  3. Boilable Structures: This type of structure can be created using a metalized film, a clear one, or a foil structure.
  4. Microwaveable Structures: This type is manufactured using clear films laminated together to add barrier properties to stand up pouches, and strength to endure microwave heating elements. Anything that is metalized is not suitable for a microwave.  The price range of microwaveable clear film structures is same as that of other clear films. Also, it depends greatly on your criteria for packaging.

You can select the right structure depending upon your product and its special packaging requirements.
