When most business owners think about the size of the stand up packaging they’ll need to package their product, they often think only of the interior space. This is an important measurement, as your product needs to fit within the bag. But it’s not the only dimension you need to keep in mind.

In fact there are four different measurements, and some of those require details about other features you might want on your stand up pouch bags. These might include things such as tear notches, and whether you want one or two; bottom gussets, and how wide they need to be when open; and FTE, or from top end, which includes not only the exterior dimensions, but also the top flap used to open the bag.
