The fourth step in our stand up packaging process involves checking and double checking artwork to make sure that everything looks as it should before printing the stand up pouch bags. After receiving art and getting it ready for the bags, we make an electronic proof and send this to the client so they can see how the artwork is going to look before we move forward with printing.
We use rotogravure printing because this results in bright, crisp colors that make bags look great and stand out on supermarket shelves. We also make printing cylinders for each color on the bag from the electronic proof. Since a sample of one bag is difficult to make, we send the electronic proof but can also send a film proof if desired. However, if customers opt for the film proof, production of the stand up bags will be delayed because this temporarily takes them off the production line.
We always send a proof before printing the bags because this gives clients a chance to check colors and let us know if we need to make changes. Once the client gives us their final approval, we move forward with production so you get the best creative food packaging for your product and brand.
