Dry Foods Packaging and Stand Up Bags

dry food packaging using standup bagsFlexibility is usually considered a positive trait, especially when making decisions. The ability to weigh the pros and cons associated with any choice goes a long way towards ensuring you make the right one. An example? Dry Foods Packaging.

What type of packaging best suits your needs? Stiff, stable, rigidly structured like a carton, box or canister? Or flexible like a plastic bag? Well, if you're willing to be flexible, we'll show you how flexible packaging is a better choice for dry foods packaging. Specifically, stand up pouch flexible food packaging.

Also known as custom print bags, Mylar® barrier pouches and stand up bags, stand up pouches offer all the benefits attributed to box/carton/canister (and, for liquids, bottle or can) packaging while providing the convenience, lighter weight and, yes, the actual flexibility of plastic bag packaging.

A stand up pouch is made from multiple layers of special film which have been laminated together. This barrier protects your dry foods from vapor, odor, moisture, light, oxygen, pests and pets. Available zip lock closures prevent spills while guarding against spoilage by sealing in freshness, flavor, aroma and nutritional content.

A stand up pouch stands up like a box, but can be folded or placed on it's side, something that comes in handy when storage space is at a premium. Optional tear notches provide additional convenience, permitting hassle-free and mess-free opening.

The flexibility of stand up pouches extends to branding your products as well. Wide front and back pouch panels provide ample space for your company labels or for printing customized to your exact specifications and in up to 10 colors. If you like, you can combine the two or even include clear film to better display your most visually appetizing products.

Speaking of display, stand up pouches stand up on the store shelf so they stand apart from the competition. Available round and sombrero-style hang holes provide grocers and retailers another option to display your brand, flexibility they will appreciate.

Stand up pouches: A prime example of why it pays to be flexible (both literally and figuratively) when it comes to dry foods packaging.
