Green packaging has become more and more popular as customers have become more aware of their impact on the environment. People search for packaging that can be recycled, and makes less of an impact, including items that are "biodegradable". However, what most people don't realize is that very few types of food packaging are actually biodegradable and there's a good reason for that.
