Stand Up Pouches for Product Packaging

Green Packaging with Pouch Bags

Green packaging has become more and more popular as customers have become more aware of their impact on the environment. People search for packaging that can be recycled, and makes less of an impact, including items that are "biodegradable". However, what most people don't realize is that very few types of food packaging are actually biodegradable and there's a good reason for that. If the package was biodegradable, it probably isn't going to be able to protect the product for more than a short period of time because the package starts to break down and may even contaminate the product it was meant to protect. Not to mention, packaging that reaches a landfill doesn't biodegrade because it ends up being buried and thus isn't exposed to air or sunlight (two big factors that help break down biodegradable materials).

Therefore, we don't make biodegradable stand up pouch bags but our stand up packaging is still very green in terms of food packaging. They are green because all of our barrier film bags are recyclable and can be ground up for use as filler for other products. They are also very landfill friendly because they take up a very small amount of space. Since our bags also reduce the amount of material used for packaging,  fossil fuel use is likewise reduced because of their low weight.
