How Can the Wrong Sized Stand Up Pouch Hurt My Business?

Why would you get a wrong sized stand up pouch when you clearly know your requirements? It’s a good idea to ask for samples before going for the full purchase. And if a stand up pouch packaging company charges you for the samples, maybe you should look for other companies. We have all types of stock pouches ready to be sent as samples. We have small sized 3x5x2 as well as the jumbo 9x14.5x4.

If you want to get custom printed stand up bags, make sure you do not go for a common size if your product isn’t fitting into it. For example, your dry mix can fit into 5x8x3 pouch, but if a 5x7x2.75 would be a better fit, we would suggest going for the latter. Since you’re going to get custom printing anyway, it’s always best to get the perfect fit.

You might have seen companies ship their products in pouches that are too big. If the pouch is too big, the bottom gusset will not open properly, and thus it will not stand erect on the shelf. Remember that you have only one chance at a first impression, and if your pouch is slouching or slumping on the store shelf, your product will lose customers. Do not make the wrong choice – always get the right sized stand up bag for your product.
