How to Use Stand up Pouches at Home

Stand up pouch bags come in two broad types – single use bags and resealable bags.

Chocolate PackaingSingle use flexible pouches usually come with a tear notch, spout, or some other accessory which lets you open the bag easily. All you have to do to use a single use bag is to tear off the notch, or rotate the spout counterclockwise. If the product is a liquid, you can either pour it into a big jar or a glass, or directly into your mouth. If it is ketchup, you can spread it over your snack. If it is a juice, you can drink it straight from the pouch.

Resealable pouch bags usually carry more of a product than single use flexible bags. You have an option to use them as containers. This eliminates the need to spend on expensive metal or glass jars to store cereals, granola, and other food products. If a pouch is not cumbersomely big, you can place it in your kitchen cabinet or at a place where it will remain easily accessible. Resealable pouch bags used in liquid packaging usually come with spouts. Bags that are used in the packaging of dry products can feature zip locks or some other resealing mechanism.
