Improve Your Food and Beverage Packaging

Food and Beverage PackagingSome companies use flexographic methods for printing their packets. It is one of the more primitive methods. This method uses a series of ink dots which are not bold, do not look photographic, and are made using rubber plates. Due to the poor quality, they do not have a lot of applications now. This printing was generally used for low cost products like pill packaging and vitamin packaging.

There is another method in which the packet is prepared using a series of etched cylinders. It has become popular lately. In this, one can easily combine different printing cylinders. This means that every color you want can be prepared using this method. This gives a photographic quality to the finished product with bold colors. This method has now replaced other printing methods. It is known as the “Rotogravure Printing Process”. Due to its popularity, most packaging companies have started adopting this technique.

There are a lot of easy steps in this process. If you need to make a small alteration in the design, just make it with a different color. This way, you will have to add only one more cylinder to the whole combination. This reduces the final cost of the product. This method is highly useful for food and beverage packaging.
