Is There a Weakest Link on Stand Up Pouch Bags?

Stand Up Pouch BagsWhen some people see pouch bags for the first time, they wonder about the strength of the packaging. We can't blame them because after all, most people are accustomed to thin, plastic bags that break and stretch with ease. However, their assumption about the strength of the stand up packaging quickly changes when they actually pick up the bag and feel how durable it is. So how do our packaging solutions exhibit strength with such a thin surface? The answer to that question comes down to engineering, materials that are used, and the laminating process.

Our engineers have put a lot of effort into creating bags that stand up to handling and storage without making any sacrifices on the graphics shown on the bag itself. If we couldn't make lightweight, custom bags that were as tough as other packaging materials, we wouldn't survive as a business so this has always been a priority. As far as materials go, that depends on what the client wants but we also provide advice based on the product in question. For example, if a client wants to use plastic materials even though foil will work better to keep the product fresh, we will make that suggestion. As far as laminating goes, this part of the process helps provide strength and keep products fresh among other benefits. We strive to make the strongest bags possible so if we do find a weak link, we customize the bag to correct the problem.
