We make high quality stand up pouch bags for a wide variety of food and health products but not all of the food is meant to be eaten by people. We also have a lot of experience with making custom printed dog treat packaging, and have a process that includes the use of barrier films to keep pet foods safe and fresh. Bags are made with multiple layers of films to keep air and other contaminants out of the package and away from the treats. This includes a tough outer layer that acts as the first barrier against everything outside of the bag.

The custom, high quality graphics are not actually printed on this outer layer but go onto the next layer of film. This second layer can have printing on its entire surface as well as windows so customers can see the product inside the bag. However, even though the printing is not on the outermost layer of the bag, it doesn't come into contact with the pet food inside because it acts as the middle layer. The layer of barrier film that does come into contact with the product is another innermost layer of virgin, sterile material.
