I'm not sure if there is any company that has done more to advance the use of stand up pouches, also known as stand bags or stand up bags, quite like Kraft Foods.  What a massive company from Maxwell House coffee to the staple that everyone I know of (including me) survived on during those "lean years" in college...Kraft Macaroni and Cheese.  Ahhh, $30 cents per box and now a few dollars for their new and improved Homestyle version in what else, a stand up bag.

Recently Kraft announced that it was breaking the company into two separate divisions which shouldn't affect their usage of stand up pouches as they continue to depend on these innovative packaging products that protect as well as perform.  Stand up pouches are made from multiple layers of barrier film that protect the contents from moisture, vapor, odor, and even UV rays while providing generous real estate for an applied label or better yet, custom printing.
