When it comes time to order stand up pouch bags for the product you’re selling, there are a few measurements you’ll need to know first. Here we’ll quickly outline those measurements for you, but you can also check out this YouTube video we’ve created to help you better understand the dimensions of pouch bags.

  • Width. This one is fairly easy to understand. It’s simply the measurement of the full opening, taken from left to right of the outside of the stand up packaging.
  • Length. Again very simply, this is the measurement from the top of the bag to the bottom, making sure that it includes the entire exterior of the bag.
  • FTE. This means “from the top end” and it refers to the piece that is at the top of the bag, but above the Ziploc or tear-away opening.
  • Quantity and timing. This simply includes the amount of product you want in the bag, as well as how soon you would like the bags to be delivered to you.
