Organic Pouches Such As Standup Bags

"Organic". Is there a word associated with food and beverages that has more buzz these days than "organic?" If there is, we're unaware of what it. The term applies, of course, to meat, fowl, fish, fruits, grains and vegetables that are naturally sourced/grown/raised without the use of pesticides or any chemicals found in nature. And while attention is focused primarily on the food or beverage product itself, the importance of the composition of the product's packaging can not be overlooked. Although packaging in and of itself isn't organic, there are certain forms of packaging that are more suitable for organic products than others. Stand up organic pouches, for example, are safe, effective and environmentally-friendly, all features ideal for organic products.

Let's start with the eco-friendly attributes of stand up organic pouches. They're constructed from multiple layers of scientifically-formulated, food-grade film which are laminated together via an energy-efficient process. However, even though they do consist of multiple film layers, they actually require less material to make than most other packaging bags (up to 12 percent less). Because they're made of less material, stand up pouches weigh less and, therefore, require less fuel per unit to ship. In addition, they ultimately generate less waste after disposal (assuming they're not recycled instead!).

Stand up organic pouches protect contents from vapor, odor, moisture and pests. They also extend the "best by" date, especially important since organic products normally don't contain any preservatives. Durable, stable and puncture-resistant, stand up pouches seal in freshness, flavor, aroma, and the nutritional properties of the food or beverage.

Because they stand up, stand up organic pouches store conveniently in the kitchen cupboard, the RV pantry, even the refrigerator/freezer. Zip lock closures help prolong shelf life while also preventing spills of dry products. A pour spout/resealable cap combination performs the same functions for juices and other beverages.

The wide front and back panels of stand up pouches accommodate your product labels, custom printing in up to 10 colors, and permit the use of clear film for barrier construction. And, of course, stand up organic pouches stand up on store shelves.
