Pillar four of the StandUpPouches.net's six-pillar strategy talks about a unique process. What is this unique process? What is in it there for the client? The fourth pillar is further divided into several steps, which are described below:
(1) Find the client's needs
At StandupPouches.net, we listen to our clients. We first let a client explain their packaging and shipping needs. We inquire if a product is to be sold in retail. Then we learn about the storing needs and storing capacity. Only after a conversation, we offer a product that best suits your packaging needs. The product may be one of our existing stand up bags, or it can be a brand new kind of bag – designed especially for your business.
(2) Materials
Depending on the client's needs, we use the right materials to create the packet. Some clients prefer foil pouches, while others demand metalized films. The packaging requirements of some clients are such that nothing less than a heavy duty barrier bag should be used. Some are looking for extra layers of barrier which will keep their products fresh for a longer time, and keep the aromas intact. Sometimes the requirements are complex, which requires a combination of packaging techniques- foil backs with a clear front, for instance.
(3) Contamination
The materials used in our pouches are FDA (Food and Drug Administration) approved. These films are made from FDA grade materials which do not contaminate food products. The FDA grade materials are essential for packaging any kind of food and liquids. These materials are even essential for animal food packaging – pet food for your dog, cat, or other pets. Our pouches are also a safer option for packaging non-food products.
(4) Client care
This is the step which makes pillar four really unique. The rotogravure printing technique used to create custom printed stand up bags opens possibilities for really creative art work. Clients have the final word on artwork, and accessories such as zips and tear knots. We e-mail the clients an electronic proof which contains the details of their order – color scheme and accessories. The client can make changes in the design at this stage.
Even after a design has been finalized, we create one film proof which shows what the final product will look like. We then either send a picture or the proof itself to the client. The client can make changes such as color alternation at this stage. It is only after this stage that the package undergoes production.
