Stand Up Pouch Bags and Their Borders

When you submit the artwork for your stand up pouch bags to us, we want to ensure that you get the very best product in return. In order to do that, we need to make sure that the pouch bags have all the artwork and information you need on them, and that each and every bag looks identical to all the others in that batch. For this reason, it’s important that when you submit your artwork to us, there are clear and consistent borders that will allow the artwork to stay on the bag, and not be cut off by our laser printer.

This is one of the more difficult and complicated steps in the entire process for our customers to understand, and it’s for this reason we’ve created a YouTube video to explain it further in depth. The basic idea is that the laser cutter used on our machines will be programmed to cut the exact same spot each and every time; with each cut making one entire bag or foil pouch. Should the artwork fall outside of those borders, the laser will cut it off and that could affect not just that one bag, but the entire batch.
