Sugar Stays Dry in Stand Up Bags

Barrier PackagingSugar is really the stuff of life.  All animals need sugar to survive.  The food we consume is converted into different types of sugar by our bodies.  Even plants convert the earth’s nutrients into cellulose, the sugar that feeds their stems, branches and leaves.  No wonder everyone loves sugar!  And thanks to stand up bags, it’s now possible to transport it in every format without spillage, waste or environmental degradation.

There’s not a single person who hasn’t picked up a bag of sugar by the flap and watched grains spill all over the place.  Sticky fingers, sticky floor.  Thank goodness dry food packaging is evolving towards moisture-proof, leak- and tear-resistant solutions.  Whether it’s sugar in the form of liquid, like honey and syrups, raw sugar or low-calorie alternatives, you want it to be hassle-free.

Lighter to transport and easier to use – that’s why everyone is switching to flexible food packaging.  Sugar is so important to our lives and our economies; that’s why it needs to be treated right.  We use it in our cooking, baking and beverages.  Nobody wants lumpy or crystallized sugar, and nobody wants to deal with cumbersome containers that don’t hold freshness.  Thankfully a better design is out there!
