Clear stand up pouch bags have transparent bodies and you can see through them. They have their own set of advantages and limitations. Let’s take a look at them.

Advantages:

1.    These are see-through pouch bags and consumers can have a look at the product before they buy
2.    They are available with outstanding barrier properties
3.    They often come with puncture resistant and strong films
4.    Clear structures have a lot of choices available, depending on the needs of different retailers
5.     They are highly cost effective but not always the cheapest option. The price depends on the thickness of the bag and the number of layers you need

Limitations:

1.    If you are planning to sell a product that is sensitive to light, you should get an opaque pouch. With see-through body, the light will enter the pouch and can react with the contents stored inside.
2.    With a completely transparent body, you will not get much space to print the branding or product information. So your marketing chances will diminish.

Make sure you go through these advantages and disadvantages before selecting a stand up pouch for your product.
