Stand Up Pouches for Product Packaging

The Correct Way to Do Liquid Packaging

Spouted pouches have made packaging of liquids very simple. Many liquids that were earlier available only in glass bottles have now been put in spouted flexible pouches. Ketchups, sauces, juices, and baby food make use of these pouches. Glass bottles and jars always had one chief disadvantage- breakage. They couldn’t be carried along during a vacation or a trip because they were bulky and could easily break.

Plastic bottles were seen as a way out of this problem. But the amount of plastic being used for bottles posed a more serious threat to the environment. Flexible pouches that are used for liquid packaging are normally tear resistant and can bear rough handling. They are also inexpensive and easily affordable.

The pouch alone costs almost nothing. It’s the addition of the spout that makes the cost. The cost of any given variety of spout depends on its function. However, in spite of the additional cost of the spout, the pouches are a lot less expensive than general glass bottles. They come in many varieties depending on their intended use. An ideal solution for drink packaging, spouted pouches are also eco friendly. Since they don’t take up much space in a landfill, they are better than glass or plastic bottles.
