More and more marketers now use digitally printed standup pouches to promote their products. This type of printing is not exactly cheap because it does not involve plates or cylinders. This method is preferred when only a small number of packages need to be printed. Digital printing itself produces visually stunning packages. To make them even more attractive, marketers employ some other techniques as well. For example, marketers often use a transparent cover or window while designing creative food packaging.

A window is useful in several ways. It allows consumers to see what is inside the packet before buying it. And they don't even have to open it. Consumers also prefer products that come in transparent packets because in this case, they know what they are buying.

This type of printing is done using the following technique.

  1. The image that you want to appear on the cover is uploaded on a computer.
  2. A gap will be left for incorporating a window into the design.
  3. Since the printing is done one by one, the process is relatively slower and costlier.
  4. Once the printing is over, the pack will be sealed.

Windows allow consumers to peep into the package. Besides boosting sales, they make the packaging more attractive. This method is often used while designing packaging for tea and dry foods.
