Which is Better - Alcohol Pouches or Bottles?

Alcohol PouchesLet’s take the scenario of a party. Weekend parties are fun… there is food and alcohol, and a lot of dancing. But once the party is over, it’s utter chaos. There are glass bottles everywhere and you need to get rid of them. Just stop for a moment and think what happens to these bottles. Since you are not reusing them, they are taken straight to the dumpster. And they pile up inside the landfill, taking up a lot of space. Wouldn’t it be better if alcohol came in pouches? Small pouches would be easier to discard, and would not take up a lot of space in that landfill.

Second scenario; you are going on a trip with friends (you’re not the designated driver), and carrying some alcohol. That glass bottle that you have in your backpack can break any moment. One careless push and you would have a lot of mess- dangerous mess with glass shards all over. Wouldn’t it be great if you could get alcohol in an easier packaging medium, like a plastic pouch? The good news is that many alcohol companies are shifting towards these pouches. If you trade in alcohol, pouches would be a great option for you. Here is why alcohol pouches are a good idea:

Cheaper: Good alcohol is already expensive. Add to it the price of a glass bottle, and the final product becomes even more expensive. One simple solution to cut down the costs is to opt for cheaper packaging medium. Standup pouches are the cheapest packaging medium for the storage of liquids. And their food grade FDA approved material makes sure that your customers get the best at the lowest price possible.

Safer: Plastic pouches do not break. And in case a pouch does get a tear, it will not be dangerous. Broken glass bottles can be dangerous, and more difficult to dispose of. Also, they need to be shipped in special corrugated cartons, and have additional storage requirements. There is no such restriction with standup pouch bags.

Eco friendly: Glass bottles occupy a lot of space, causing the landfills to fill up quicker, thus needing more and more landfills. Standup pouches need the minimum space in a landfill and they are a greener option than glass bottles, glass jars, and plastic bottles.

Apart from these benefits, they are easier for the customers. With a small spout, your customers can drink directly from the pouch, or pour it in a glass- whichever way they prefer.
